Clarifications were provided to politis.com.cy regarding an Israeli media report about a “secret meeting” of the Air Force chiefs of Cyprus, Greece and Israel by a reliable source in Nicosia.
According to the source, a meeting of Air Force officers from the three countries did take place. However, the Air Force chiefs themselves did not participate, contrary to what the Israeli network KAN News reported.
The meeting was part of the regular contacts between officials of the three sides in preparation for future trilateral meetings.
The source categorically denied that any preparations or plans are being made against a third country in the region.
