In a late-Thursday call, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told President Donald Trump that Israel will hold off on harsher measures against Hamas. Israeli media say Washington wants the truce to continue, and both sides agreed Rafah will remain shut with no set reopening date.

Aid and Rafah

Israel will keep allowing about 600 aid trucks into Gaza daily. Any extra assistance linked to Rafah’s reopening will not enter until further notice, in line with a clause tying aid levels to Hamas’s compliance.

Hostage remains

Senior Israeli officials say Hamas can immediately return around 10 bodies of abductees and has precise information for five more, though special equipment is needed to reach them. For four others, Hamas is believed not to know the exact locations.
