The International Short Film Festival of Cyprus, an annual institution of the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and co-organised with Rialto Theatre, joins the international Short Film Day initiative to celebrate the official Global Short Film Day on 21 December (Le Jour le plus Court).

To mark the occasion, the festival invites audiences to enjoy a special screening of award-winning short films from its programme, turning the shortest day of the year into a long and memorable cinematic experience.

This year’s Short Film Day will take place at Kosmikon Centre Antonakis in Nicosia, offering a relaxed, alternative cinema night featuring selected films from the international and national competition sections of ISFFC 2025.
